1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing or using the PetPal mobile application and website ("PetPal", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use PetPal.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PetPal. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share, resell or transfer your account without our permission.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

PetPal offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions (Pro and Premium) are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider Paddle (Merchant of Record), which handles payment processing, tax and invoicing. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time through the app or the payment provider's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Credits

Free accounts receive a limited number of AI credits. Credits packs can be purchased separately in the app. Credits are non-transferable and expire only as stated at purchase.

6. AI Features & Disclaimer

PetPal's AI tools are provided for informational, entertainment and assistance purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions made based on AI outputs.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse PetPal, including: reverse engineering the app, interfering with its operation, uploading unlawful content, or using it to harm animals or people.

8. Intellectual Property

PetPal and its content (excluding your uploaded media) are owned by us or our licensors. You retain all rights to the photos, sounds and videos you upload.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using PetPal at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
